1000hands records the properties of international investment fund companies

1000hands AG is carrying out measurement and recording of the property portfolios of two of the largest international investment fund companies. The aim is to give the fund management an exact overview of the portfolio so that any sales transactions can be carried out quickly and to best effect and the rental processes can be improved and accelerated.

Using the as-built plans provided by the client, 1000hands AG inspects and survey the buildings, documents changes, prepares as-built plans in CAD format and calculates the floor space according to the standard gif MF-G. An as-built plan is supplied for each storey both in CAD format and in the standard PDF format which enables the plans to be viewed and printed without any additional software.

The costs vary, depending on the type of as-built plans that the client is able to provide. Good CAD files or paper plans which only need to be checked in the building and corrected for any changes that have been made cost considerably less than completely new on-site measurements.

For rental processes, the processed data can be made available to letting departments and affiliated estate agents in the form of access to the Internet archive at www.1000hand.net. As-built plans and floor space calculations are thus available at any time for all parties involved without any extra software because the plans are also provided in the standard PDF format.
 
For this task, 1000hands AG has developed a concept which has now been used successfully many times in recording the data of large property portfolios. In the largest property transactions of the last few years, e.g. for Deutsche Bank AG and the Karstadt department store company, contractually watertight floor space data were provided by this process which enabled the vendors to avoid high security discounts resulting from uncertain floor space data, and it also made the sales processes considerably faster. Letting activities can be made far more efficient with current portfolio data and rapid access via the Internet, thus providing a clear competitive advantage.
