Fast floor space check and survey

We have developed a testing process which enables us to determine the gross external area (GEA) of the buildings in large property portfolios quickly and at moderate cost.

The gross external area is calculated according to the standard DIN 277. The external dimensions of a building are determined with high accuracy by tachymetric laser measurements. Then inner courtyards and other voids are deducted. On the basis of figures that depend on the type of building, it is possible to estimate the net internal area and rented floor space from the gross external area. If required, a representative building can be measured in detail to calculation the figures to be used in this estimation.

This process is useful if a detailed list of floor spaces according to gif MF-G or DIN 277 is not needed.

Surveys

Surveys can be carried out for the purchaser in property transactions to analyse the floor space details provided in the data room and assess the quality of the data. In this case, an individual agreement must be made for the scope of the inspection.
